From intimate parties to weddings and corporate events, from creating an arrangement to designing and maintaining a garden, Bowman Dahl provides complete floral and event design services.

We think of our work as classic – but with a twist.  We love showcasing the incredible variety of nature wherever it can be found.  You might call us scavengers.  We shop farmers’ markets as well as flower markets and nurseries.  We love texture and composition.  Our goal, always, is to create something beautiful, attuned to the client, occasion, and site.  We incorporate unusual elements into innovative, unexpected, eye-catching designs.  That’s why the New York Botanical Garden, with its extraordinary horticultural knowledge, is one of our most loyal clients.

Dan Dahl is an award-winning graduate in contemporary design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.  Working with founders Joel Dean and Giorgio DeLuca, he transformed retail design at the original Dean & DeLuca in Soho to incorporate flowers and other natural materials into the displays.  After leaving Dean & DeLuca, he founded Dan Dahl Design, where he worked independently for twelve years before forming Bowman Dahl.

Brian Bowman is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning.  He began his career in the fashion industry with clients as diverse as Disney and Harley-Davidson.  Before Bowman Dahl, he spent seven years sharpening his project management skills in floral design as manager of a high-end retail florist and designer on New York’s Upper West Side.
